Photography
In the early 1980s I started working as an illustrator and found that my ability to do my own photography for reference and recording my work was very helpful. I would put a roll of film in my camera and take a dozen or so photos for work and then be left with the rest of the roll. I began shooting landscape, street and still life photos to use up the remaining shots. I enjoyed it so much that I haven't stopped shooting and have built up a collection of travel, botanical & still life photographs. Now it’s all digital so no more rolls of film to use up.
